The audio wave form is just a flat green line and the file has no sound

This will occur if you are running low on hard drive space. When WavePad loads a file, it keeps a copy of the working audio (in full quality 32 bit) in its Audio Working Folder for fast editing and processing. By default, this folder is located in the Application Data folder that WavePad is installed on. Check your (C:) Drive to see how much space you have available on your hard drive.

• On a PC, right click on your (C:) Drive and click on properties in the right-click menu. The window that opens will show you the Used Space and Free Space.
• On a Mac, right click on your Hard Drive icon and select Get Info from the right-click menu. The window that opens will show you the Total Capacity, Available Space, and Used Space.

You can either clear some space on your hard drive or select another drive for your Audio Working Folder by using the following steps.

• Click the Options button on the Home tab
• Go to the Audio tab
• In the section titled "Audio Working Folder", select the radio button "Use this specified folder"
• Browse to the new drive and folder, and click OK
• Click OK to save your changes and close the Options dialog box
