Is the free version of Express Scribe truly gone or is there a website error? I downloaded it and got a trial version of the Pro package. Has your policy has changed ?

If you downloaded the installer from the "Download the free version here" link on the webpage, when you install you'll see the title bar of the window says "Express Scribe Pro: Unlicensed Trial version." Additionally, when you read Help->About, it will say "Licensed user: Unlicensed basic free version." This means the software is in trial mode and after 14 days it will automatically convert to the free version.

If you see "Express Scribe Pro: Unlicensed Trial version" and when you check Help->About it says "Licensed user: Unlicensed Software," this means the install is in full trial mode and when it reaches the 14 days it will prompt you to visit our purchase page.
