Problem
Solution
Call is not answeredThis means the board or the TSP are not installed correctly. See here for installation instructions.
Call answered but no audio playsThis mean either you have not installed the Wave drivers (see here) or you are using an earlier incompatible Dialogic card eg 21D / DIALOG/4.
Number of ringsSome customers in the UK have reported a problem with the doubling of the number of rings. If you set the IVM to answer after 2 rings it will actually answer after 4 rings. The solution is to simply double the number of rings you enter.

The minimum number of rings before answering is 2. Even if you set the number at 0 in the IVM the board will wait for 2 rings before answering.

Caller ID not reportedChange the Dialogic setup item "Report Call" to 3 which gives the Caller ID enough time to work.
End of recording choppedThere have been some reports where the last few seconds of a recording is chopped off. This is due to some sort of buffering issue with the Dialogic card. It has been suggested that adjusting the "end-of-call timer" settings in the Dialogic settings will improve this. Further information on where to find these settings and confirmation that this makes a difference would be appreciated.
Perfect call problemsOne customer had the following comment: For some reason the perfect call feature was not working correctly. When I disabled perfect call and keyed in the disconnect tones into the TAPI configuration, the system started working properly. I can now reboot the PC, log in, and launch your IVM software and it works great!

Other Professional Telephony Hardware (Dialogic Alternatives)
Seeing as Dialogic have announced that from 1 January 2006 they will no longer support TAPI, we strongly recommend using an alternative telephony board with our software as it is likely a Dialogic Board will not work.

We have many other tried and tested, professional telephony boards that are much more reasonably priced and work very reliably with our software.
You can find more information on our telephony boards here.

For smaller applications, NCH Swift Sound Software can be used with most voice modems. See www.nch.com.au/ivm/modems.html.

If you find any other telephony boards with TAPI drivers that work with NCH Swift Sound's IVM Telephone Answering Attendant, IMS On-Hold Player, DialDictate Phone-In Dictation System and TRx Call Recorder applications please Contact Us.
